Wilderness Equipment Dart 2   Design The DART 2 has all the advantages of the superlight, Dart 1 model in two-person tent size. Pole Structure The Dart 2 uses a pair of long, assymetrically-crossed poles combined with a transverse shorter one. This arrangement provides excellent interior space, strength and stability. Multiple Pitch Options The Dart 2 is an inner-pitch-first design we have provided the outer tent with the necessary fittings for it to be erected on its own. Capacity Two people fit easily in the Dart 2. There is heaps of length and sit-up head room is sufficient even for taller persons. Fly Design There are two vents as high up as possible on the outer skin.  By unzipping the top part of the inner tent doors these vents can be opened or closed from inside the inner tent. The tent is provided with a good, reinforced guying system essential to assist the relatively rigid frame structure resist the drag force created by storm conditions winds. As noted above, the outer can be erected on its own. Inner Tent Features The Dart 2 inner, above the suspended tub floor splash walls, is all mesh except for the flat, top triangle which uses 30d nylon for extra strength and some dew resistance when the inner is used without the outer.
